└ RAFTING We should be thankful for the sprites that make rafts for us. A raft is a useful thing indeed. They are seaworthy enough to handle the high seas, but small enough to negotiate the smallest streams. They also allow one to be safe from all known monsters due to the enchantment of the sprites. Thou art safe when on a raft. Casting a raft out to sea is simple. One need only stand aside the raft and use it to cast off. Thou must, of course be standing aside the raft to push it off rather than in it. Thou jumpeth in as it begins to move. Gettingoff is a simple matter of floating up to a beach or dock, and once again using the raft, but in reverse so as to stop it instead of casting off! With practice, one canst increase one's seamanship greatly. -Jerome, -Boatmaster
